A genuine academic education for children with challenging learning needs

Learning Circle Academy is the only school in southeastern Michigan designed exclusively for students with complex learning disabilities, which may also be accompanied by difficulties in language processing, sensory integration, and social skills.

Our students have been unable to overcome their learning challenges with programming offered in public or private school settings. It is very difficult for them to make significant academic gains unless intensive intervention practices are implemented. These children are also very aware of their differences, which places them at great risk for becoming socially isolated, depressed, and depending on community assistance for a lifetime.

Our Mission

Learning Circle Academy's mission is to provide specialized academic programming combined with therapeutic interventions so that students with significant learning challenges can develop the skills needed to attend colleges or vocational training programs, and become successfully integrated into their communities as independent, productive adults.
