Experiential Learning
Learning Circle Academy teachers utilize a variety of methods to help students become more actively engaged in the process of learning. Activities include field trips, hands-on and experiential learning.
Experiential Learning is learning through experience. Teachers focus on the successes of the individual and the group by framing activities beforehand and discussing what will happen, then guiding students through the experience, and following-up with self-reflection and group discussion.
Experiential Learning helps students to develop the capacity to reflect on an experience and its significance to themselves and others. We encourage students to experience information with all of their senses, and from different perspectives.
