Teaching Staff

All academic subjects are taught by certified special education teachers with training and experience in learning and developmental disabilities.

Learning Circle Academy's teaching assistants have extensive experience with special needs students in a classroom setting. Some are certified teachers, or are studying to become special education teachers.

LCA also contracts with skilled, licensed and certified therapists in speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, and creative art therapies such as art, music, drama and dance.

Additional support by qualified volunteers is utilized to insure that all students receive individual support as needed.

Each classroom has ten students, a special education teacher or a licensed therapist, and two teaching assistants.
