Christopher
Christopher has attended Learning Circle Academy for one and a half school years. However, his language processing skills have improved tremendously along with his math and reading skills, not to mention his social and emotional growth!
The methodology and techniques used at Learning Circle Academy have afforded Christopher the opportunity to learn using specific methods designed to
target his own unique learning style.
Learning Circle Academy is a total educational experience in which Christopher has blossomed. His ideas are important. His emotions legitimate, and his personality is encouraged. Most importantly, his learning disabilities are not used against him to make him feel inferior or "stupid". He has flourished socially, mentally, physically and psychologically since beginning his attendance at LCA. His self-esteem and
self-concept have changed drastically as he is now beginning to see himself
as a person who matters.
Learning Circle Academy's faculty and staff have adapted the curriculum and educational atmosphere to "fit" the students. The individual attention and care the students receive is far more beneficial and positive than any previous educational setting that Christopher has experienced.
Both Christopher and I are thankful for the opportunity for him to receive his
education from Learning Circle Academy. Here are Christopher's own words...
'Learning Circle Academy is a special school. I learn about different things there. The teachers do a phenomenal job. When we're sad they make us feel better. LCA has changed me. This is a really good school for kids with disabilities."
